The fireplace at Bethel Point was unique in that it featured a stacked double configuration, with one fireplace anchoring the first-floor living area and a second positioned above on the exterior deck. This upper fireplace created a dramatic focal point overlooking the bay while maintaining a shared flue system below.
The modern gas fireplace at Virginia Beach presented a distinct design challenge. Positioned in a third-floor living area and flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows, it was designed to integrate storage and a central TV location while maintaining clean lines and balance within the open, light-filled space.
